Why we exist.
CraftPower was founded to address a critical gap in the energy transition: how to store renewable power reliably and at scale, without creating new environmental burdens. As more clean energy comes online, long-duration storage becomes essential to balance supply and demand.
How We Work.
Our focus is on subsurface pumped hydropower storage (SPHS), a practical solution that uses existing oilfield infrastructure to store and release energy. By moving brine between surface tanks or ponds and deep subsurface reservoirs, we provide zero emission, land efficient storage with minimal environmental impact and no freshwater use.
